Oklahoma's Oldest Trail Run. Started in 1999 by Earl Blewett, carried on by the Tatur organization and race director Ken Childress starting in 2009, and directed by the Outlaw group since 2019 — the 29th annual running on April 10, 2027 is the first under Stillwater Trail and Road Runners.
Registration is open! Choose from 50K, 25K, 12K, or 5K on Lake McMurtry's beginner-friendly single-track — or take on the 12K or 25K as a Ruck division.
Location: Lake McMurtry West Recreation Area — not the East side. Apple Maps gets this wrong; use Google Maps or the directions below.

A variety of distances on single track winding through the pines and along the shores of Lake McMurtry — moderately difficult and suitable for beginners and seasoned trail runners alike. The course is a loop on the west side of the lake, with the longer distances adding an out-and-back to the east side. The 50K has about 2,600 feet of elevation gain.
